Survey Roundtable Membership
Can I join?
Yes, of course! Anyone can be a member of our Survey Roundtable community. Joining is a simple 3-step process:
- Complete a short, basic registration form.
- Click on the confirmation link you receive via email from Taylor Jones.
- Complete your Personality Survey.
What is your registration process?
If you have a personal account on any website, you’ll notice our registration process is very similar. The data we collect, such as your age and gender, is for market research purposes ONLY. We collect this personal information to ensure we provide proper representation within each survey. (This means, for example, that if a survey is for women ages 40 to 45, we don’t send you an invite if you’re a 34-year-old man!)
Why do you send a confirmation email?
So you know those emails you get from random “Take Our Survey Now!” companies you’ve never heard of? We’re not like those companies. For you to receive any of Survey Roundtable’s communications, you must first double opt-in to our community. Opting in is the action of signing up. Double opting in is clicking on the link you receive in that confirmation email. If you do not click on the link, you will never receive a Survey Roundtable invite. And remember to add my email (TaylorJ@surveyroundtable.com) to your contacts. All future emails will be coming from me!
What type of information are you collecting in the Personality Survey?
First, it is so important to us that you know that none of the information you provide will EVER be shared with a third party without your written consent. Protecting your privacy is paramount to us. Now that said, the information you provide helps us better identify surveys that will interest you. The more questions you answer, like, “What type of car do you drive?” and “What type of Music do you listen to?” make your Survey Roundtable experience the best it can be.
What does it cost me?
Cost? Nothing. Seriously. Membership is 100% FREE. We will never ask you for any money or your credit card information. We just want to hear your opinion!
Why should I become a member of the Survey Roundtable community?
For starters, we know you’ve have an opinion about something. Why not share it and help influence the products and services you purchase on a daily basis? Why not join a community built to make the things we all use (or don’t use) and enjoy (or don’t enjoy) better? And, if you are going to take the time to share how you feel, why not earn a few rewards for it, too?
I never received my confirmation email. What should I do?
Well, that is not good! Please click here to go to the Confirmation Resend page. If after completing that process you still have not received your confirmation email from my email address (TaylorJ@SurveyRoundtable.com) please check your Junk/SPAM email folder. Note: to ensure you receive future Survey Roundtable email invitations, please add my email address, TaylorJ@SurveyRoundtable.com, to your contact list.
Survey Roundtable Survey Participation
How do I participate in surveys?
First, you must complete all three steps of the registration process. Once done, there are two ways to participate in surveys.
- We will send you invitations whenever a survey matches the Personality Survey information you’ve provided. The invite will contain everything you need to know, such as the survey’s length, topic and reward amount. All you have to do is click the survey link and complete the survey! OR
- Once you log into Survey Roundtable, there is a “Take a Survey!” page located at the top of the screen (right beside “Home”). This is where you’ll find a list of all open surveys available to you. All you have to do is click the survey link and complete the survey!
What type of emails will I receive?
Typically, Survey Roundtable sends out two types of emails: (1) survey invitations and (2) customer service emails regarding your membership. You will never receive a communication from a non-Survey Roundtable colleague. We hate SPAM and we bet you do too!
Why don’t I have any available surveys?
This could happen for a couple reasons:
- Not completing your Personality Survey. The more we know about you, the more surveys we can send to you! Another interesting tidbit: a member who has properly completed her Personality Survey will receive a survey before someone that has not.
- Frequency of qualifying topics. On Monday we could be interviewing diabetic members. Tuesday could be dog owners. Wednesday could be SUV buyers. If you don’t meet the topic requirements, you won’t receive a survey.
Now, while you can’t control survey topics or how often you receive an invite, you can control your Personality Survey. Double-check that it’s up-to-date!
I answered 5 to 10 questions and did not qualify. Why?!?
Sometimes you do have to jump into a survey to determine if you’re honestly and truthfully the right fit. The main reason is (drum roll please) bias. To protect from bias we create screening questions to ensure each survey is the right one for you. Sometimes it will only take a couple questions to figure that out; other times, a few more. Here’s how it works: let’s say your Personality Survey indicates that you own a dog. And let’s say we have a study that’s looking to identify the popularity of a particular breed. If we name the study “Golden Retriever Study,” you’ll know too much information from the get-go. It could sway how you provide the rest of your answers. Instead, we’ll send an invite to a survey called “Dog Study.” A few questions in, it becomes apparent that you are not the owner of a golden retriever, so you are no longer eligible for the study. (But don’t worry—you still earn 100 SRT points for your participation.)
How long are normal surveys?
The length of each survey varies by topic. Some surveys can be as short as 1 to 2 minutes; others, as long as 45 minutes. Average is about 20 minutes. In each invite you receive, the average length determined for that particular survey will be clearly highlighted for you. It is important that you are compensated differently for varying survey lengths. As expected, the longer it is, the more SRT points you will receive.
How do I receive rewards?
Your time is valuable and you should be compensated for it. So each Survey Roundtable survey you complete earns you SRT points. This process is automated, increasing your amount based on the specified points in the invite. Good to know: we provide points if you qualify and if you disqualify from every survey. (This means no matter what, you will receive points for your time.) Each invite clearly specifies the point levels. Here’s an example: Reward Points: Just for participating, you will receive 100 SRTs. If you qualify and complete the survey, you will receive 1000 SRTs.
There is an error with the survey. What should I do?
As vigilant as we are, issues do arise from time to time. If this happens to you, try one of these two fixes:
- Please click here to our “Contact Us” page. Remember to be as detailed as possible with your feedback. The more information we review, the faster we can resolve your issue.
- Email our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org Again, it is very important that you are as descriptive as possible with your feedback. Including info like the survey topic, survey number or even forwarding the actual invite are all ways that will help us identify the fastest solution.
Account & Profile
How can I change my email address?
Please log into Survey Roundtable and click on the “Account Info” located at the top of the screen (right beside “Contact Us”). On this page, you will be able to easily change and save your new email address.
How do I change my password?
Changing your password is easy. On the “Home” page, please click the “Reset Password” tab at the top of the screen. Once on the “Reset Password” page, please follow the simple instructions in order to complete this process. If you run into any issue, please contact us here.
I don’t remember my username. Help?!?
These things happen to the best of us. Your username is always the email address you registered with. If you cannot remember which email you used, please contact us here. We will get back to you within 2 to 3 business days, tops.
I don’t remember my password. Help?!?
What, you don’t have it tattooed on your arm? (We don’t either.) To fix this easily, please go the “Reset Password” tab and follow the simple instructions. If you run into any further problems, please contact us here.
Where do I go to update my Personality Survey?
There are two ways to update your Personality survey. Once you have logged into the SRT website
- Please click on the “Take a Survey!” tab. Your Personality Survey will always be available on this Page.
- Or click on “Click here to update your Personality survey.” Located on the “Home” page
And just remember, whenever you make a big purchase, like a car or new home, visit your Personality Survey and update your information—the more up-to-date your personality profiler is, the more relevant surveys you will receive!
Where do I go to unsubscribe?
Oh, we are so sad to hear you’d like to leave. (In fact, before you go, would you please consider sharing why you’re leaving here? Help your fellow SRT community members!) Now, since we’re 100% compliant with ANTI-SPAM laws, we provide the Unsubscribe option on our email communications and SRT “Home” page (at the bottom). And, you may also email us here at any time to be removed.
Really, really important to know, though: once you unsubscribe from our community, we will deactivate your membership and remove you from all mailings moving forward. Once you have unsubscribed, you forfeit all SRT points you have received to date. If you decide to rejoin the SRT community at a later date (and we’d love to have you back!), the previous points you collected will remain forfeited.
Why do you need to collect my personal information?
We need your information to ensure that every survey we field reflects a fair and honest representation of its desired population. For example, if a survey is for jock straps and you are female, it’d be silly to send you an invite to participate. (Unless, of course, the survey was for jock straps for kids, in which case the target could be moms.)
Please know that any and all information we collect from you is always for market research purposes ONLY. We do NOT share or sell your information to a third party without your written consent. Your privacy is paramount, not only for your protection but for protecting the integrity of the projects in our care!

Points, Rewards & Payments
How can I earn points?
There are two ways to earn points:
- Participate in surveys. The more surveys you complete, the more points you earn toward the various rewards we offer.
- Refer a member. If you know someone who could bring value to the Survey Roundtable community, we’d love to meet him! Or her!
What different types of rewards are redeemable with my points?
We are always growing our Reward Center to have the best rewards possible! All of our rewards are virtual, so we are able to send your reward faster versus having to mail them!
Once you have achieved 10,000 SRT points, the Request Redemption button will be active under your MyRewards' page. Once you click the button, you will be able to redeem for any of our awesome eGift cards.
Please note - for security purposes, we cannot allow access to our eGift card section until you have reached 10,000 SRT points. So for now, here is a current list of all our eGift cards:

How do I redeem my points?
It's super-easy! Once you have reached 10,000 SRT points, you can redeem them for any of the offers in our Reward Center. When you log into your membership account, click on the "My Rewards" tab at the top of the screen. Next, just click the Request Redemption button and select the desired reward you want!
And just remember, you start with 3,000 SRT points by completing the Registration survey AND your Personality survey!
Where do I see my point total?
Everything that revolves around your points and reward offers can be found under the “My Rewards” tab. So just click there to check out your current point total.
What is the average survey reward?
Good question... The average is 1000 SRT points for every survey you qualify for and complete. Sometimes it may be a higher or lower point value, but we strive to give at least 1000 SRT points for each survey.
So that means, once you have completed no more than 7 surveys you will be eligible for your first reward!
How long does it take to receive my reward?
We process all reward requests at least once per week. However, we generally review the requests every 2 to 3 business days.
Once we process your reward request, you will receive an SRT email instantly with your eGift card information.
How will I receive my virtual gift card?
After you redeem your SRT points, your gift card(s) will be sent to the same email address you used to register to the Survey Roundtable community.
I didn’t receive my points for completing a survey! What happened?
The SRT point process is 100% automated. Upon completing the survey, the points associated with it are deposited into your membership account in real-time. Two questions to answer before contacting our Customer Service:
- Did you qualify for the survey? If you disqualified from the survey on the screen questions, you only receive 100 SRTs for your time.
- Did you finish the survey? If you closed your Internet browser or paused the study (meaning, you never completed it), you would not have received points.
If answers to both of these questions are “Yes,” then please click here to contact Customer Service with as much detailed information as possible (such as survey topic, survey number or the actual survey). Let’s get this rectified!
Will my points ever expire?
No! As long as you are an active member of the Survey Roundtable community, your points will always be available.
Can I lose my points?
Yes, SRT members can lose their points. It is actually a really serious matter. Here’s why: the Survey Roundtable community is based on our members’ honesty. It’s how we create the highest quality surveys possible. Our reputation is based on it. If we find members changing their answers to qualify for surveys they normally would not have qualified for, we will remove them from our community. Once removed, all SRT points achieved to-date are forfeited.
Again, this is not a matter we take lightly. On a positive note, we do not have to remove members often!
Survey Roundtable Referral Program
Do you have a referral program?
Yes, we do! If you have friends or family members who will add value to our community, by all means, INVITE THEM! To begin the Refer-a-Member program, please login to the SRT community and click on the “Refer-a-Member” tab at the top of the screen, then just follow the instructions.
One thing to note: if we notice that referred members are providing dishonest answers, we will remove their account. Yours, too, can be in jeopardy, depending on the amount of members you referred who are being dishonest. For this reason, we will look to you for assistance in ensuring honest answers from all your referred members. This is a team effort!
Do I receive SRT points for referring friends and family members?
Yes you do! For every new member who successfully completes all three steps of the registration process (see Can I Join FAQ), we will deposit 100 SRT points into your membership account.
